About Tai Chi
The main training method of tai chi chuan is a slow sequence of movements which emphasize a straight spine, abdominal breathing and a natural range of motion.
This solo form takes students through a complete, natural range of motion coordinated with deep, relaxing breaths. Continuous practice of the solo routine is said to correct posture, promote circulation throughout the body, maintain flexibility throughout the joints and increase mental clarity.
